Standard Cancellation and Refund Timetable

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Qualifies for: Complete refund excluding processing charges

Processing Period: 5-7 working days

Service Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Must be requested via written communication such as email or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualifies for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Period: 7-10 working days

Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Requirements: Valid justification needed; subject to administrative charges

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualifies for: Refunds are not accessible

Exemption: Special circumstances may be taken into account

Alternative Option: A voucher for future charters may be granted at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Emergency claims must be backed by appropriate documents

Cancellation due to Weather Conditions

Our Commitment Regarding Weather

Your safety is our foremost concern. Should the weather be considered hazardous for charter operations by our accredited captain, we provide adaptable alternatives:

  • Complete Refund: Issued if it's not feasible to reschedule
  • Postponement: Adjust your booking to a subsequent available slot at no extra charge
  • Voucher: Offered for use within 12 months from the initial charter date

Weather Evaluation Procedure

We take the following into account when assessing weather conditions:

  • Evaluation of wind velocity and direction
  • Sea condition monitoring including wave height
  • Predictions about visibility and incoming precipitation
  • Notices and cautions from the Coast Guard
  • Expert safety assessment by our captain

Decision Timeframe: Determinations about weather cancellations are made at most four hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Refunds in the Event of Medical Emergencies

Critical Health Situations

Misfortunes can happen unexpectedly, and we offer consideration for the following circumstances:

  • Unexpected medical issues or injuries necessitating hospital care
  • Loss of a close family member
  • Unanticipated military assignments or withdrawals
  • Legal obligations such as jury summons or subpoenas
  • Natural catastrophes impacting your ability to travel

Document Verification Requirements

In case of a medical emergency, to process your refund we will need:

  • A doctor's note or hospital records
  • Death certificate, when relevant
  • Formal military orders
  • Juridical notices such as subpoenas or jury summonses
  • Public advisories or proclamations of emergency

Procedure: Requests that involve emergencies are carried out within 3 to 5 business days post-receipt of the necessary paperwork.

Refunds Resulting from Operational Issues

Mechanical Complications

If the yacht designated for your charter undergoes unsolvable mechanical failures:

  • Substitute Vessel: We'll endeavor to furnish an alternative of similar quality
  • Complete Refund: Provided if a suitable replacement isn't available
  • Proportional Refund: In case the substitute vessel differs in price
  • Reparation: Additional compensation might be presented for any inconvenience caused

Crew Unavailability

In the exceptional event that an endorsed crew member is not available:

  • If possible, a replacement crew will be arranged
  • Complete refund if the charter is unable to proceed
  • Rescheduling offered at no additional cost

Procedure for Refund Handling

Payment Reversal Method

Refunds are reversed via the same financial instrument originally used for payment:

  • Credit Card Payments: Processed within 5-7 business days
  • Wire Transfers: Processed within 7-10 business days
  • Cash or Cheque Transactions: Processed within 3-5 business days

EFT Transactions

€25 fee applicable to all refund transactions via bank transfer

Credits for future charter services may be awarded under these scenarios:

  • Delay-induced cancellations occurring less than a day prior
  • Cancellations stemming from adverse weather conditions
  • Elective rescheduling applications
  • Unforeseen operational disruptions

Credit Usage Regulations

  • Effectiveness: Credible for one year from issuance
  • Non-transferability: Credits cannot be exchanged with other individuals
  • Value: Equivalent to the full original charter cost (excluding administrative fees)
  • Application: Applicable towards any available charter within the validity period
  • Expiration Policy: No expansions beyond the one-year limit

Proportional Service Refunds

Disruption in Services

If your charter is hampered or curtailed due to any internal factors:

  • A refund in proportion to the non-utilized duration
  • A guarantee for an upcoming charter equal in value
  • Complimentary additions or advancements

Disturbances Attributable to Guests

In situations where the charter is concluded prematurely due to the actions of a guest or non-compliance with safety practices:

  • No reimbursement for the unspent period
  • Full cost of the service is still payable
  • Possible incurrence of further penalties

Methods of Settling Disputes

In the event of a disagreement over a refund determination, you may:

  • Appeal for an examination by our administrative team
  • Forward additional substantiation or proof
  • Seek an agreement through consumer protection organizations
  • Resort to legal actions as permissible by law

Our customer service will verify receipt of your request within one day, assess it in alignment with the outlined policy, communicate a resolution within two days, and execute approved reimbursements within the declared processing times.

Essential Considerations

  • All applications for refunds must be made in written form
  • Refunds are managed in €, notwithstanding the original payment's currency
  • It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance
  • This guideline may be updated with a month's advance notice
  • Refund amounts are subject to prevailing taxes and legislations
